Statement of Support

Our goal at Remember The Girls, first and foremost, is to bring together and support women and girls impacted by X-linked diseases. We understand there may be members of our community, both in the United States and around the world, feeling anxiety about the current changes being implemented by the new Administration. 

We feel this is an important time to extend our support even further and emphasize our organization’s commitment to:

• Increasing the volume of research and clinical trials including females with X-linked conditions.
• Extending access to family planning options for genetic carriers, including (but not limited to) in vitro fertilization with preimplantation genetic testing, prenatal testing, and adoption.
• Providing a safe space for women in our community to seek and provide support, ask questions, find resources, and learn how to advocate.

While the fulfillment of our mission may face unanticipated challenges, Remember The Girls will find creative ways to adapt to the situation and remains confident in a future where females impacted by X-linked conditions have access to the support, resources, and care they need to manage their physical and mental health, and build their families.
